Product Safety Tips
Last updated: July 2026
Your safety matters to us. Because Adonait Home is a marketplace, products are supplied and sold by independent vendors — but we want every purchase to be a safe one. Use these tips to shop smart and use home products safely.
Before you buy
Read the full product description, dimensions, and materials. Check that the item suits its intended use and space. Look at the vendor and any available reviews or ratings. If a deal looks too good to be true, slow down and ask questions through the Contact page.
When your item arrives
Inspect the package and product on delivery. Keep all packaging and instructions until you’re sure the item is right. Follow the manufacturer’s assembly, weight-limit, and care instructions exactly. Do not use a product that arrives damaged, appears defective, or is missing safety components — contact us and the vendor right away.
Home safety essentials
Furniture: anchor tall or heavy furniture (dressers, bookcases) to the wall to prevent tip-overs, especially in homes with children.
Lighting & electrical: use bulbs within the rated wattage; don’t overload outlets; look for recognized safety certifications on electrical goods.
Children & pets: keep small parts, cords, and batteries out of reach; choose age-appropriate items.
Outdoor & heat: follow instructions for grills, fire pits, and heaters; keep them clear of anything flammable.
Recalls
Check for recalls on products you own at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (cpsc.gov). If you believe a product you purchased has been recalled, stop using it and contact us and the vendor immediately.
Report a safety concern
If a product you bought on Adonait Home appears unsafe, defective, counterfeit, or misdescribed, please report it through the Contact page with your order number and photos if possible. We take safety reports seriously and will work with the vendor to address them.
Our commitment
We prohibit the sale of unsafe, recalled, counterfeit, and illegal items, and we act on credible safety reports. Still, Adonait is a marketplace and not the manufacturer or seller; always follow product instructions and use good judgment. See our Conditions of Use.
